How much is it to rent the hall?

For a five hour event the rental fee is $450, plus $150 deposit. No hall rental will be booked without a signed contract and security deposit.

Additional hours can be purchased for $100/hr. For special events or special rates and discounts

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

 

The Port Monmouth Fire Company is a volunteer fire company. The rental fee from all hall rentals help fund expenses, including ongoing maintenance and future renovations of the hall itself.

How many table and chairs?

The room's max cap is 80. Approx. 1600 sq ft. Ten round tables, two buffet tables, and chairs are provided. Round tables are approx. 60in and seat 8.

Is the hall handicap accessible?

As of February 2015 the hall is handicap accessible.

What is included in the kitchen?

The kitchen includes plenty of counter space, refrigerator, freezer, sink, commercial stove/oven, NEW 2014 microwave, NEW 2014 coffee pot, and ice machine.

Where should guests park?

All cars must be parked in rear parking lot. No one is to park in designated fireman spaces.

When can I set up?

Prior to your events start time. If available, it is possible to set up the night before. Special arrangements MUST be made. Contact us!

What is required at cleanup?

Renters must return all tables and chairs to the racks and storage closet, dispose of all garbage in the dumpster located in the the parking lot, sweep and mop all the floors, and leave the space in satisfactory condition. Garbage left out, food or spills left on counters/walls/floors, mess in bathrooms or garbage left in the parking areas are all grounds for the security deposit to be kept.

Are decorations allowed?

Tabletop and balloon decorations are allowed. NO decorations can be affixed to the walls or ceilings. Violation will result in loss of deposit.

When will I get my deposit back?

Upon completion of the event, the key is returned, and the hall is left in a satisfactory condition the security deposit will be returned, after the company’s next business meeting, following the event date.
